Who we work with.
In order to help facilitate the aims of the project, we work with a range of organisations and individuals to help engage as many people as possible. This platform is made possible in particular due to the support of the organisations below.
Counter Terrorism Policing
Counter Terrorism Policing is a collaboration of UK police forces working with the UK intelligence community to help protect the public and national security by preventing, deterring and investigating terrorist activity. They operate nationwide across the four strands of the UK CONTEST strategy: Prevent, Pursue, Protect, and Prepare.
We have teamed up with the Police’s National Youth Counterterrorism Advisory Group to incorporate our materials into ongoing extremism prevention efforts, and consult their guidance and expertise around how best to communicate these difficult topics.
Strength to Strength
Strength to Strength is a nonprofit supporting victims of terrorism around the world with long-term psychological needs through regular meetings, provision of information and advice, and raising awareness. They have created a global network of hundreds around the world, and we have partnered with them in order to provide survivors with the opportunity to share their story in a safe and understanding manner, allowing these to then be used in prevention of future radicalisation and to combat terrorism.
National Emergencies Trust
The National Emergencies Trust is a charity that seeks to improve the civil society response to national emergencies, following a year where the UK suffered several terror attacks and the Grenfell Fire (2017). NET works to raise and distribute fundraising in the aftermath of disasters and emergencies, ensuring these funds reach those directly affected and most in need to support their recovery.
We are assisting NET to raise awareness of the support needs of victims of terrorism that often emerge in the months and years following an attack.
The Department for Education
The Department for Education (DfE) is a ministerial department of the Government of the United Kingdom. It is responsible for child protection, child services, education (compulsory, further, and higher education), apprenticeships, and wider skills in England.
