Emma Buchholt


Emma is the Project Coordinator and leads our university events programme at Resilience in Unity. She has previously worked as a Research and Policy Associate with the Counter Extremism Project in their Brussels office where she provided strategic advice to senior leadership and identified engagement and visibility opportunities with key stakeholders, including policymakers, the media, and think tank partners.

Prior to that, she worked as a trainee in the Prevention of Radicalisation Unit at the European Commission’s Directorate-General of Migration & Home Affairs, where she was an integrated part of the EU Internet Forum team responsible for countering terrorist and violent extremist content online. Emma holds an MA in Intelligence and Security Studies from Salford University and a BA in European Studies with German from King’s College London.
