Romane Mathieson


Romy currently serves on our talented team of analysts. She has a strong interest in security, and was awarded with a Young Leaders in National Security Fellowship by the Counter Extremism Group in 2024.

She studied Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Bristol, and is currently studying for a Masters Degree in the War Studies Department at King’s College London. She also currently volunteers for the National Emergencies Trust, a charity which supports those affected by UK disasters. Romy is keen to support Resilience in Unity’s mission to contribute creatively to bettering our national security through the inclusion of the voices of lived experience.
