Travis D. Frain OBE BCA DL
After surviving injuries sustained in the terrorist attack on Westminster Bridge and in New Palace Yard on March 22nd 2017, Travis began working to counter terrorism across a range of different roles. In addition to his work in the national security space, he has campaigned for improvements in support for victims of terrorism and co-founded the pressure group Survivors Against Terror in January 2018.
In November 2021, he launched Resilience in Unity in response to a reported increase in radicalisation during the COVID19 Pandemic. He has also served as a Lecturer at several universities, training Police Officers and students of counterterrorism, criminology, and history, and serves on the boards of several charities.
In 2021, he was named a “Young Leader in National Security”, in 2023 he was awarded a British Citizen Award (BCA) by the Houses of Parliament, and in 2024 he was made an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) by HM King Charles III. He currently serves as one of His Majesty’s personal representatives for the county of Lancashire.
