Travis D. Frain
Westminster Bridge Attack - 22.03.2017
Travis Frain was studying History with Politics at Edge Hill University when he was injured in the Westminster Bridge attack - visiting London with the politics side of his course, they were only meant to be in the city for three days. On the second day of the trip, whilst walking with some of his friends along Westminster Bridge, they were hit by an SUV driven by an Islamist terrorist at pedestrians. Everyone in the group was injured, and Travis spent eight days in hospital and another six months on crutches and a walking stick whilst recovering from his injuries.
After the terrorist struck bystanders with his vehicle on Westminster Bridge, he proceeded on foot with knives and attacked a Police Officer within the grounds of Parliament. Five people lost their lives, and over fifty were injured from around the world.
