Sudhesh Dahad

7/7 London Bombings - 07.07.2005

Sudhesh Dahad, like millions of other Londoners, set off for work early on the morning of the 7th July 2005 before cramming into a London Underground train at King's Cross tube station. That morning a cell of terrorists targeted the London transport network, detonating three bombs on trains on the London Underground and another on a double decker bus at Tavistock Square. 52 people would be killed in the attack, and over 700 injured, leaving countless more to battle with the psychological scars of that day.

Since being affected by the attack, Sudhesh has delivered talks in schools to raise awareness of the effects of trauma through the retelling of his story, and in the hope of making others aware of the threat from radicalisation.
