Manchester Arena Attack - 22.05.2017

When an Islamist extremist detonated an explosive device at Manchester Arena on 22nd May 2017, twenty-two people tragically lost their lives and over eight hundred were wounded. One of those killed was Martyn Hett, a 29 Year old PR Manager.

Martyn’s mother, Figen Murray, has devoted her life since then towards the promotion of peace and has campaigned relentlessly in support of “Martyn’s Law”, legislation to mandate a statutory duty for venues and crowded places to undertake security considerations as part of their planning.
