Commencing Doctoral Studies

Today I officially started at Edge Hill University enrolled on a PhD programme in the History Faculty. Over the next three years I will be teaching undergraduate students as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, whilst researching the history of US-UK Foreign Policy towards Islamist ideology, broadly between the 1970s-1990s. I have been very fortunate to be awarded a full scholarship by the University in support of the research, and look forward to getting started properly in earnest.
