Book of Remembrance and Tribute

In lieu of the physical book of remembrance and tribute that would have likely been produced if we had all met in person as planned, this page hosts in digital format the messages sent in by those affected, whether they be bereaved, injured, witnesses, first responders, or emergency services. It will be updated regularly as and when messages are sent in to us by attendees to the service. The order in which messages are displayed is dictated purely by the order in which we received them.

If you would like to add a contribution to the platform, please get in touch with us at: WestminsterCWG@gmail.com

Another time, another place.
The lonely streets where we embraced.
Then you would go without a trace.
Nothing's the same without you.
Another day goes passing by.
I sit alone and wonder why.
Sometimes it's hard, but I will try
to live my life without you.
You're in my heart, you're in my dreams.
You're everywhere or so it seems.
So many times I've heard that song.
Hold back the tears, pretend you're strong.
Another day goes slowly by.
I sit alone and wonder why.
I think of you, I start to cry.
Nothing's the same without you.
Another time, another place.
The sweetness of our last embrace.
What would I give to see your face.
Nothing's the same without you.
Nothing's the same,
nothing's the same,
nothing's the same without you.

We miss you Aysha, but we know you are here with us.

— Miguel A. Nouche Ferreira

The willow, it weeps today, a breeze from the distance is calling your name, unfurl your wings and pray.

The static of this cruel world, cause some birds to fly, long before they've seen their day.

Ascend... may you find no resistance, know that you've made such a difference, and all you leave behind will live till the end.

The cycle of suffering goes on, but the memories of you stay strong.

Someday we too, will fly, and find you again.

We will make a brand new start from the pieces torn apart, we will make our way through, find the solace that we’re due.

Let the wind carry you home, Blackbird fly away, May we never, be broken, again.

- Melissa Cochran, lyrical credits to Alter Bridge

After 4 years, our thoughts remain with the victims of this terrible attack and the many people who have been directly affected by it.  Our thoughts also go out to the Emergency service workers who not only responded to the incident at the time, but to those who continue to work tirelessly behind the scenes to reduce the risk of this happening again.

CTPHQ will continue to work with the victims of attacks as well as all of the UK’s communities to identify individuals who may be at risk to any negative influences, and provide them with the support that they need.

On this day I hope that we can all come together to not only commemorate the loss of innocent lives, but also celebrate the achievements made since then by communities working together to save lives and make our country a safer place.

- PS Greig Urquhart, CT Policing

Words are worthless to express what I feel and how much I miss you. But my dear friend, my dear Andreea, you know already everything, you will be always inside my heart!

Hardly a day goes by when I don't think back to the events of that day, and reflect on the senseless violence that caused so much pain to families around the world.

My only hope is that today's event, and the planned installation of a plaque, will bring proper recognition of the pain endured and resilience shown by those affected; bringing some small solace to all of us.

I'd like to thank those who continue to fight terrorism around the world every day and hope, as always, for some semblance of dignity and peace to be granted to all involved. Best wishes,

— Travis D. Frain

Right now I‘m in a different place , and though we seem apart, I‘m closer than I ever was, I‘m there inside your heart.

I‘m with you when you greet each day, and when the sun shines bright, I‘m there to share the sunsets too, I‘m with you every night.

I‘m with you when the times are good, to share a laugh or two, and if a tear should start to fall, I‘ll still be there for you.

And when that day arrives, that we are no longer apart, I‘ll smile and hold you close to me, forever in my heart.

Hug everyone you love a lot tighter. Never take any moment for granted!

One moment can change a lifetime. Many people have been devastated, by this tragic event. Parents, children, siblings, loved ones, have had the precious life ahead of them taken away.

The only blessing in all of this grief and sadness, was witnessing the beauty of humanity, coming together as strangers to help, comfort and care for those in need in whatever way they could. I feel so privileged to live in a society that values freedom and nurtures kindness.

I send my love and well wishes to all of those who suffer as a result of this tragedy.

— Colleen x

To my beautiful friend Aysha.

Our friendship seeds were planted when we were both baby in prams.  I can imagine us both sweetly observing each other whilst our mums chatted away. Little did we know back then that our friendship journey would blossom throughout our school years with so many great adventures throughout are teenage and adulthood lives.   Real life true friendship between us and the girly squad.

We shared so many fun moments together over 30 years with lots of laughter, kindness trust and loyalty.  True friendship which I was lucky enough to find and like we said, always thought we would have until we grew old together.   Missing our chats and girly nights out.

Miss you Chica, a piece of my heart is with you forever. Love,

- Maria x

Our souls are screaming for you, our dear child Andreuta. And this will never stop! Love you baby and very very miss you!

- Geta & Tatutu (Mom &Dad)

It was just like yesterday when, with your enthusiasm, you were telling us what you saw, what you ate and how is London and in only 30 min the grup chat was forever silenced from your side. After that, the only feeling I wish I never had, had installed in me and never left since: the fear of this ugly feeling called missing someone close. I saw you since in a few dreams and I thank you for that but your physical presence is missed ever since.

Miss talking to you my dear friend Andreea, seeing your crazy outfits, dancing together, laughing at the Christmas table and swimming in our favourite spot at home. Wishing everyone who had lost a loved one in the blink of an eye, love, peace and acceptance in remembering them as angels that were in our lives for a reason and left physically away from us to be in all the beauty we see around us.

Love,

- Apfel Georgi!

Andreea, your light will shine forever! Forever remembered, forever missed!

- Ada
